air distributor jam ၿဖစ္ေနလို႔
starting air solenoid မေကါင္းလို႔
inlet & exhaust valve tappet ခ်ိန္တါမွားၿပီး"negative" valve clearance ၿဖစ္ေနလို႔
external starting automation ကပိတ္ထါးလို႔ ( အခ်ိဳ႔အင္ဂ်င္ေတြမွာ lub oil pump , gear oil pump မေမါင္း၇င္ air kick မ၇ပါဘူး)
4 stroke engine လဲ 2 stroke engine လို automatic valve ( non return valve ေလလိုင္းမွာတတ္ထါးတဲ႔သေဘါ) ပါတတ္တယ္။start button နိွပ္၇င္ pilot air တခုကအဲဒီဘါးကိုပြင္႔ေစတယ္။)အဲဒီ button ပ်က္လို႔ pilot air မသြါး၇င္ ( manual နွိုးဖို႔ ပါတတ္တယ္။)

Crankshaft လည္ေပမဲ႔ engine fire မၿဖစ္၇င္
-automatic shut-down device ကို reset မလုပ္၇ေသး၇င္
-ဂါဗနာက Load limit ကိုတအါးခ်ထါး၇င္
Overspeed trip device ကၿဖတ္ထါး၇င္
ဂါဗနာမွာ၇ိွတဲ႔ Starting fuel limiter ခ်ိန္တါမွားေန၇င္
ဂါဗနာမွာတြဲထါးတဲ႔ Starting booster အါးက်ေန၇င္
Governor oil pressure သိပ္နဲလို႔ power piston အါးက်ေန၇င္
ဂါဗနာနဲ႔ injection pump ေတြၿကား linkage ေတြမေကါင္း၇င္
တခ်ိဳ႔ fuel control rack ေတြ jam ၿဖစ္ၿပီးဆီမလြတ္ေပး၇င္
Fuel pump stop cylinder ေတြ ဆြဲ၇ပ္တဲ႔ အေနအထါးမွာက်ပ္ေန၇င္
injection system ကို vent မလုပ္ထါး၇င္ ( mixing tank မွာ vent cock ၇ိွတတ္တယ္။)
isolate valve ပိတ္ထါး၇င္။ quick closing valve ပိတ္ထါး၇င္
fuel pump နဲ႔ injector ၿကားမွာ injection pipe ေတြမက်ပ္ထါး၇င္။( fuel leakage alarm လါတတ္ပါတယ္။)
Fuel filter ေတြပိတ္ေန၇င္ ။ 3 way cock လွည္႔ထါးတါမွားေန၇င္
Tank valve ေတြပိတ္ထါး၇င္
Booster , supply pump မေမါင္းထါး၇င္။
အင္ဂ်င္ warming မေပးဘဲဆီညံ႔နဲ႔ႏိုွး၇င္
ဆီထဲေ၇ပါေန၇င္
Safety shut down ေတြစမ္းၿပီး ၿပန္ reset မလုပ္ထါး၇င္

Engine Fires Irregularly

Piston rings ေတြက်လို႔ too low compression pressure ၿဖစ္၇င္

Engine Speed Not Stable ( speed မမွန္၇င္)
Governor adjustment မွားၿပီး  too low compensation ၿဖစ္ေအါင္ခ်ိန္ထါး၇င္
Fuel feed pressure အ၇မ္းနဲေန၇င္
ဆီထဲေ၇ပါေန၇င္ (Injection pump vapor lock ၿဖစ္ေန၇င္)
Loading automation (eg. Controllable pitch propeller) ဖက္က ေပးတဲ႔ signal မွားေန၇င္
Engine unit အခ်ိဳ႔ idle မွာအလုပ္မလုပ္၇င္( fuel pump helix ထိပ္နားစါးေန၇င္)
ဂါဗနာနဲ႔ injection pump ၿကားlinkage ေတြ clearance မ်ားေန၇င္
Fuel feed pressure သိပ္မ်ားလို႔ injection pump အတြင္း friction ၀င္ေန၇င္
Vibration damper ( fuel pump cam shaft မွာတပ္ထါးတဲ႔) မေကါင္း၇င္
Fuel pump တခုခု spring က်ိဳးေန၇င္

Big end bearing clearance သိပ္မ်ားေန၇င္
valve springs or injection pump tappet spring ေတြက်ိဳးေန၇င္

valve clearances သိပ္မ်ား၇င္
one or more cylinder ေတြ overload ၿဖစ္ေန၇င္
injection pump or valve tappet guide block ေခ်ာင္ေန၇င္
low ignition quality fuel ကိုလံုေလါက္တဲ႔ အပူမ၇ဘဲသံုး၇င္
injection timing ခ်ိန္တါမွားေန၇င္

Dark Exhaust Gases (မီးခိုးမဲေန၇င္)
* Late injection ၿဖစ္ေန၇င္ (wrongly set camshaft drive)
* Insufficient charge of air pressure:
- Air intake clogged.
- Turbocharger compressor dirty.
- Charge air cooler clogged on air side.
- Turbocharger turbine badly fouled.
- injection valve pressure too low ၿဖစ္ေန၇င္
- nozzle ေတြ carbon deposit ကပ္ေန၇င္။needle က်ပ္ေန၇င္
- exhaust gas back pressure သိပ္ၿမင္႔ေန၇င္
-heavy oil နဲ႔ low load ေမါင္းလို႔ poor combustion ၿဖစ္၇င္

Engine Exhaust Gas Blue-whitish
Excessive lubricating oil consumption ၿဖစ္ေနတယ္။
Gas blow by past piston rings (blow pass ၿဖစ္ေန၇င္)
oil scraper rings က်ိဳးတါ (သို႔) worn cylinder liners ၿဖစ္ေန၇င္
exh & inlet valve guide / seal ေတြေခ်ာင္ေန၇င္
compression rings ကိုက္ေန၇င္
Compression rings ေတြတပ္တါမွားေန၇င္.
Ring scuffing ၿဖစ္ေန၇င္
Low ambient temp မွာ အင္ဂ်င္ႏိုးၿပီး low load နဲ႔အၿကာၿကီးေမါင္းေန၇င္ (Blue-whitish)
exhaust boiler သို႔ turbocharger ကေန water leakage ၿဖစ္၇င္(Gray-whitish).
ဆီထဲေ၇ပါ၇င္
Charge air manifold ထဲ condensate water ေတြစုေန၇င္
Low ambient temp ေၿကာင္႔ exh gas condensation ၿဖစ္၇င္
Cyl head ေ၇ယိုေန၇င္

Unit အါးလံုး၇ဲ႔ Exhaust gas temperature ၿမင္႔ေန၇င္
Engine badly overload ၿဖစ္နုိင္တယ္။(injection pump rack positionကိုစစ္ၿကည္႔ပါ)
Charge air temperature too high:
Charge air cooler clogged on water side or dirty on air side.
Water temperature to air cooler too high, water quantity နဲေနတယ္။
Engine room temperature ပံုမွန္မဟုတ္ဘဲသိပ္ၿမင္႔ေနတယ္
cylinder head inlet or exhaust ဗါးေတြ မွာ Excessive deposits ကပ္ေန၇င္
Exhaust pipe pressure after turbine သိပ္ၿမင္႔ေန၇င္ ( back pressure မ်ားေန၇င္ )

Exhaust gas temperature of one cylinder above normal
exhaust gas thermometer မေကါင္း၇င္
fuel injector setting မွားေန၇င္
fuel pump timing ေနာက္က်ေန၇င္
cylinder head အထြက္ exhaust bellow ကို ဖမ္းတဲ႔ clamp ေခ်ာင္ေနလို႔ exhaust gas ယိုေနခဲ႔၇င္
Exhaust valve ေလါင္ေနခဲ႔၇င္ ( ေလါင္တဲ႔အလံုးအၿပင္ သူနဲ႔ အိပ္ေဇါလိုင္းဆက္ေနတဲ႔ အၿခားအလံုးေတြပါတတ္တတ္တယ္။ valve spindle ပူလါလို႔ tappet clearance နဲလါတတ္တယ္။ Compression pressure က်လါမယ္။ dead slow ေလါက္နဲ႔ေမါင္း၇င္ hissing sound ၿကား၇တတ္တယ္)
Faulty injection valve:
opening pressure much too low / sticking of nozzle needle when open / broken spring /nozzle cracked / Late injection/Dripping
 Fuel supply insufficient (filter blocked).
 Injection pump faulty, fuel rack sticking in high position.

Exhaust gas temp ေတြတလံုးနဲ႔တလံုးသိပ္ကြါေန၇င္
Too low fuel feed pressure, too small flow through injection pumps.
Exhaust pipe or turbine nozzle ring partly clogged.
8- and 16-cylinder engines ေတြမွာ turbocharger နားက  cylinders ၂ လံုးက 120 degree Celsius ေလါက္ကြါတတ္တယ္။

Lubricating Oil Pressure Lacking Or Too Low
pressure gauge ပ်က္ေနတါ။ gauge ကိုသြါးတဲ႔ပိုက္ ပိတ္ေနတါ
sump oil level အ၇မ္းနဲေနတါ
Lubricating oil pressure control valve  အလုပ္မလုပ္တါ။ က်ပ္ေနတါ
lubricating oil filter Three-way cock ကို မွားလွည္႔ထါးတါ
lubricating oil suction pipe connection ေလဆြဲေနတါ.
Lubricating oil ေတြ diesel oil, low viscosity ဆီေတြနဲ႔ ေ၇ာေနတါ
Engine အထဲက Lubricating oil pipes ေတြေခ်ာင္ေနတါ
တခ်ိဳဘယ္၇ာ၇င္ေတြ ပံုမွန္ထက္က်ယ္ေနတါ

Water In Lubricating Oil
oil cooler tube ေတြ leak ၿဖစ္ေနတါ
cooler liner O-ring မေကါင္းတါ
lubricating oil separator ပံုမွန္အလုပ္မလုပ္တါ

Engine Stops
Shortage of fuel ဆီၿပတ္သြါး၇င္
Over speed trip device ကဆြဲ၇ပ္၇င္
Automatic stop device က ဆြဲ၇ပ္၇င္(lub oil low pressure shut down စသၿဖင္႔)
governor or governor drive မေကါင္း၇င္

Does Not Stop Even Stop ဆြဲ၇ပ္လိ႔ုမွမ၇ပ္၇င္
